On almost all of those cases, the only turbos those people can compare are their new ones compared to stock. I do not understand how people can compare one brand against another when they haven't used both types on their car. What you have there are unobjective opinions. One guy might really like one type of turbo, while another guy might not like that same type of turbo at all. I think to have a more scientific test, people's opinions should not be used as the measurement, they should just added as a side note. Do a fair and even benchmark showing dyno charts for all the turbos listed on engines with as similar configurations as you can get... ie using same cams, same intake, same exhaust... basically leaving the turbos as the only variable. That way, while the exact HP output may vary slightly between different engines, the shape of the HP and torque curves will clearly be seen and able to be compared in a more objective way.
